Stack and Sort Toy

Stack and Sort Toy

thingiverse

This stack and sort toy is inspired by popular wooden toys like Melissa and Doug. It's designed to be printed using a 3D printer, although the MakerBot print volume might require a 10% reduction in part size. The base snaps together (but hasn't been tested yet) while the pegs should be flexible enough to fit into their holes. This educational toy teaches children about shape and number association (e.g., there are five pentagons, four squares, etc.). After my daughter lost several pieces of her stack and sort toy, I decided to create a 3D version so we could easily replace any missing parts. Assembly is simple - just snap the pieces together with no need for non-printed parts.
