Stable articulated phone support designed for boat fishing

thingiverse

A versatile articulated phone stand designed for boaters who want to mirror their fishfinder screen on their smartphone while on the water. Its compact design makes it easy to store when not in use. The wide base of the support provides stability, preventing waves from knocking it over. To assemble this stand, print the files with supports. High-resolution printing (around 0.1 mm) is recommended for the screwed parts. Glue the articulation part together with the base part. For added stability, consider adding springs to the holes in the base. You can source these from a bic pen or similar item. For an extra-stable phone holder, cut a circular hole (about 200mm in diameter) in a 10mm thick wooden board and glue the support piece into it. Alternatively, print a large base using the provided files ("Grand socle 20 cm", "Grand socle 15 cm", or "Grand socle 10 cm") to eliminate the need for the additional support piece. Enjoy your new phone stand!
