This sleek design showcases striking contrast through color and material. The aluminum composite panel boasts a crisp white surface, while metallic and black edges add depth. Paired with a foot made from two layers of richly stained beech plywood, the overall look is enhanced by an impressive visual contrast. Crafting hexagonal holes in the upper section was a playful touch, as the stand was specifically designed to accommodate Stabilo Point 88 pens featuring hexagonal shafts. The construction process took place on a desktop CNC machine from Stepcraft, utilizing 6.5 mm beech plywood and 2 mm Aludibond (a durable aluminum compound material). A spiral-toothed 1.2 mm flute was used for the wood, while a two-edged 1.4 mm flute was employed for the aluminum.
