STABILIZATION LEG - CONCEPT

An economical and streamlined design solution is proposed for the stabilizer leg! Modifications to the initial layout involve only minor adjustments, avoiding complex components that increase costs (materials, machining, labor, etc.). Here's my idea for the stabilizing leg: a taller mounting bracket and a retained lower pivot point of the shock absorber at its open position. The absorber length measures 5-3/4 inches eye to eye. The maximum force acting on the shock absorber is approximately 1600 lbf at a 40-degree angle. A suitable shock was discovered, preloaded with a spring rate of 450-2500 lb/in from KS. Although slightly more expensive, this option maintains design simplicity and reliability. The locking bracket could incorporate additional slots for varied angles.
