ST:TNG Warp Core

UPDATE 7/3/2018 - Added MatterInjector_repaired.stl to fix a problem S3D has with the original one posted. I really liked the style of Warp Core Table Lamp done by ThePlanetMike, but at the time, there was very little information about how the lighting was done. Also, the light pattern was not the same as seen in the show. So, I thought I would try doing my own lighting and came up with this. A lot of the pieces are a complete redesign from the original. The chamber and matter injector have some modifications, but are based off the original pieces. Here is a video of the final product: https://youtu.be/5eExqwx-PhE I used a custom adapter to an Arduino Nano to control the lights. The PCB can be ordered from OSH Park (https://oshpark.com/projects/OjKfgvHc). You will need some skill in surface mount soldering to assemble the board. I am a Software Engineer, not an English Major or manual writer. I will be the first to admit that my writing is not the best. I have tried to do the best I can to describe how to assemble things. Successful assembly will rely on the users mechanical and electronic skills. This is not a novice level project. NOTE: The No Derivative restriction only applies to automated processes or being used as part of a combination of objects. Derivatives are allowed as long as the derivative is a stand-alone object. NOTE 2: The SMD resistors are 0805 type.
