The model from bekroogle worked flawlessly for me, except that the silver part was modeled on a curved surface and my printer created distinct steps in the final product. This problem also occurred with another comm badge design, so I flattened the shape in Tinkercad by duplicating it, mirroring its orientation, and rotating it along the long axis - the result fit perfectly without any issues.
