Tympanum adorning the northern portal of Strasbourg's St-Pierre-le-Vieux church, a striking feature first documented in 1130 CE, hints at an even earlier edifice on the site, possibly dating back to the Merovingian era around the 6th century CE. This unique church stands out due to its exceptional arrangement where both Roman Catholic and Lutheran congregations worship together under a decree issued by Louis XIV in 1681, known as simultaneum. While Lutherans occupy the nave, Catholics hold services in the choir, separated by a wall constructed on top of an ancient rood screen. In 2012, a door was installed on this wall as a symbol of reconciliation between the two congregations. A photogrammetric model captured with a Nikon D3200 camera and processed through Metashape highlights the church's architectural details.
