St Pancras N Scale Train Station
thingiverse
In April 2012, my children's interest in model trains sparked my passion anew. I aimed to create a mainline London station model but found none for iconic stations like Victoria, Kings Cross, Paddington, or St Pancras. Enchanted by St Pancras' beauty, I embarked on the 3D printing journey. Initially, I attempted using Google Earth models and CAD interpretations from Google Street View, but faced challenges in assembling a large model. Unfortunately, I lost source files, prompting a talented 3D artist named Samir to join my quest. Our project is a proof of concept showcasing the potential of 3D printing in creating detailed models at home and sharing them globally for improvement. However, this St Pancras model is not scaled accurately, and only part of its front side is finished due to time constraints. Please feel free to contribute and help complete it.
