A detailed replica of the 14th Century chapel honoring Saint James the Elder is brought to life with a model condensed from 1000k data, situated within the expansive grounds of the Evangelical Church of Sebes in Alba County, Romania. Constructed towards the end of the 14th Century (as documented in a donation record dated 1382), it is estimated that the chapel was fully completed by 1426, according to available sources. Characterized by a modest nave and a five-sided apse adorned with five windows, this architectural marvel adheres closely to the distinctive traits of Transylvanian Late Gothic style. Exposing its interior, medieval paintings have been unearthed through restoration efforts, providing an extraordinary glimpse into the past (copyright Muzeul Municipal Ioan Raica Sebes 2017). The model was crafted from a total of 152 photographs taken with a 28 mm lens. Access to the chapel's interior will be granted at a later time.
