Under Joseph DeFalco's supervision at Bergen County Academies, a project was undertaken to replicate St. Basil's Cathedral's exterior architecture, focusing on the domes and connecting structure. This iconic Russian landmark, located in Red Square, initially boasted gold-inlaid design and housed nine churches within its walls for Ivan the Terrible. The Soviet era stripped it of religious ties but preserved it as a symbol of nationalism and pride. Now a museum, the cathedral attracts millions annually. The project aimed to recreate the architecture mathematically, honoring its geometric style and historical significance.
