SSH1106 OLED Display enclosure (STM32 + W5500)

prusaprinters

This is an enclosure I've built for my electric boat.
It houses the electronics to read out the state of charge, cell voltage and temperature of my battery packs.

A STM32 uses ethernet to interface with a battery management system via modbus.
A rotary encoder is used to navigate through the menu's. I haven't posted the code to Github because the BMS is not very common.

The front-panel has room for a SSH1106 OLED display which is squeezed against the main box. You can slide a STM32F103C8T6 bluepill MCU and a W5510 ethernet module in the main box.
The lid has a cutout for the Ethernet port and the programming pins of the bluepill

It's done a bit quick and dirty so check the measurements before printing. I also notice that the SSH1106 modules aren't always the same size. Openscad files are provided to make adjustments.

The only thing missing is the knob. But you can use the one from my T-amp case:
https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/19713-muse-mu-d50w-t-amp-case

Print instructions

Unassociated tags: boat display, rotary encoder
