SSD Stackable Tray with lid
thingiverse
This is a stackable tray to hold SSD hard drives. The base of the tray has four holes for screwing the SSD into the tray (v1) or it can be used as a base with the holes used to screw down into a permanent position. Version 2 (v2) has small studs in place of the screw holes. These allow you to hold an SSD is place quite firmly without needing to use screws. In my testing I can hold the tray upside down without the SSD falling out, though it definitely holds when vertical. A matching lid is also included. A full-size HDD version which also supports SSDs and includes a separate lid and base and allows for mounting 120mm cooling fans can be found here ... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6114929 (ports in) and here ... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6133437 (ports out) An alternative version with the SATA ports facing "out" can be found here ... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6135247 I printed mine with the following settings... ... Material: PLA ... Layer height: 0.2mm ... walls: 2 ... Infill: 10% ... Rafts: None ... Supports: None (I placed a single support in the centre of the SATA port slot, though this shouldn't be needed)
