SSD Case
thingiverse
I've managed to successfully hack together a makeshift solution using my existing RedTopper SATA to USB adapter and an old 7mm SSD enclosure. The process was quite straightforward, requiring only basic electronics knowledge and some patience. I simply desoldered the original 9.5mm drive from the case and replaced it with the smaller 7mm SSD, ensuring all necessary connections were secure and accounted for. Some minor modifications to the adapter's PCB were necessary to accommodate the reduced size of the new drive, but ultimately everything fit together smoothly.
