I’ve updated the file to blend the centre console to the dash with a wide radius sweep up from the foot wells and a gradual incline from in front of the E-brake. This form is inspired by the transition on the rear of the car where the wide white panel blends down into the centre column that houses the exhaust ports. This version shows a manual transmission. The shifter gate is set into a deep cut in the surface of the centre console to offset the height of the swept top surface. In a paddle shift model, this space could be occupied by storage compartments for such small items as the driver's wallet, sunglasses, cellphone or tablet.
