Here is my entry for the B2 spirit and B2 Spirit 300.With over ten years of studies in aerodynamics, supercar engineering, and racing with a Lotus racing team, I have decided to start this design with a split case tear drop monocoque, and work my way outward, ensuring the least amount of disruption of airflow from front to back, while using the front nose, and fenders/quarter panels to direct the flow exactly where it needs to go. This vehicle also features my patent pending independent 360 active aero system that I have been designing the algorithms for, for over a year. Each of the six panels work separately by calculating the downforce upon each wheel at all times, and adjusting its angle to give the desired wheel more or less force when needed. all 6 panels also work as an air brake under hard braking conditions. Each panel on the vehicle is designed to do something to help the vehicles performance, because I have always been taught, if it does not have functionality for the vehicle, its just adding weight...The entrances into the rear quarter panels don't only cool the radiators, but are internally directed in an 8:1 ratio, one parts to rid rear wheel turbulence, and seven parts to the bottom side of the engine bay to create a cross flow "vacuum" to help pull heat away from the engine and turbos, and out the open, free flowing back end.I decided not to go with an open rear wheeled quarter panel because of DOT regulations.
