SS Dolphin

SS Dolphin

The SS Dolphin from Pikmin was painstakingly rebuilt from a genuine game file that contained every piece and part collected within, making it far too intricate to print at first glance. To make it printable, essential components like the antennas were omitted, while gears, batteries, and other unseen details had to be carefully removed to create a solid interior. The model was printed as a Christmas tree ornament for my son, who still occasionally plays Pikmin, and was expertly painted by my wife. At this scale, a clear Lego "radar dish" serves perfectly as the captain's seat dome. No copyright is claimed by me; I simply attempted to make a game render file printable. Print Settings: Printer: Dremel Idea Builder Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 10% Notes: Both pre-supported and original versions are included.
