I wanted to experiment with creating a mouthpiece that can actually produce a note. To do this, I attached two lower recorder sections to the end, allowing me to create deeper notes. The sound quality is quite crisp and clear. However, it's unclear if it's truly playing distinct notes yet. To resolve this issue, I'll need to perform some calculations and make adjustments in the future. Any suggestions or ideas are welcome! Ultimately, my goal is to develop a range of mouthpieces, mid-bodies, and bells that share a common interface. For instance, pairing a slide whistle mid-body with this mouthpiece could be a fascinating combination.
