SR Suntour 32mm Fork Air Volume Spacers (3 Sizes)
cults3d
On gnarly terrain, a suspension fork that is adjusted for comfort may bottom out, while adding air pressure or compression damping will result in a harsher ride. By reducing the air chamber volume in your fork, the effective compression ratio of the air from fully extended to fully compressed will increase, allowing your fork to take greater advantage of the non-linear relationship between force and pressure when air is compressed. In simpler terms, the bigger the spacer, the more aggressively your fork will firm up towards the bottom of its travel. These three different sized spacers can be easily press-fit into the air chamber cap of a Suntour air fork with 32mm stanchions (in my case, Raidon.) You will need a 27mm socket with a tapered end (or be willing to grind down the end of a standard socket). Do not attempt to remove the air chamber cap with a spanner.
