#Tinkerfun This object was designed and made in Tinkercad. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/13qDEQ6vFyJ I spent countless hours wrestling with this concept in my head before I finally got it to work. I wanted to create a squirt gun that's truly 100% 3D printable, requiring no seals or screws to hold it together. I thought, "Could I make it work at all?" I'm thrilled to say that this design should do the trick! It's far from finished, and it looks pretty rough right now, so I'm busy refining its aesthetic details. This model consists of three separate pieces: * The tank/resevoir/chamber * The plunger/handle * The lid/guide The interior of the "tank" is beveled inward to ensure that water flows smoothly into the "chamber". To fill the chamber, you need to pull the plunger/handle all the way back, which opens a 10mm gap that allows water to enter. After allowing a second for the tank to fill, push the plunger/handle forward, and it will force the water out of the nozzle. The guide on top of the lid keeps the handle/plunger straight and prevents users from moving the handle too far and damaging something. The nozzle is 3mm wide (inner tube diameter), and the tolerance between the plunger and the wall is a precise 0.4mm. I rounded the front of the plunger to ensure that it can find its path even if it's slightly off-center. I made the walls either 5mm or 3mm thick, depending on their purpose. The top lid clips onto the model with tiny dimples that fit snugly into 1.5mm holes. Simply pull on the tabs on the sides to remove the top (for drying, cleaning, etc.). Remember, don't abuse this design – it's not perfect, but if used gently, it should function just fine.
