Three-dimensional modeling of a squirrel cage rotor induction motor featuring three phases and 36 poles. The stator is crafted to be fully detachable, with each component made from a different material allowing for easy removal. The ring securing the squirrel cage is tied in place by a plastic band threaded through copper rods. To prevent the drive shaft from slipping, it has been designed with protrusions that latch onto laminations and held fast by a small rod featuring rings on its surface. Two sets of blades mounted directly to the drive shaft take in air through encasement vents to facilitate cooling. Note that pole windings may not be accurately represented; also no starting windings are present. For simplicity, poles can be reduced from 36 to 24 with sufficient room already provided within the stator, utilizing only three out of four available holes.
