Squirrel Step Casting Tutorial - A DIY Guide (DO NOT PRINT) **CAUTION**: Not Meant for Printing in Plastic Form **DANGER ALERT**: This Process Can Be Extremely Hazardous, I Stress This Again and Again: MOLTEN METAL CAN INFILTRATE THE SKIN AND CAUSE MASSIVE BURNS. PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION. I Must Emphasize That I Am Not a Safety Expert and My Knowledge May Be Inadequate; Therefore, I Do Not Offer Any Advice on Melting or Safety Precautions. YouTube Videos Provide Valuable Information (Though Their Accuracy is Uncertain to Me), But I Urge You to Research Exhaustively Before Proceeding. If You Are Willing to Take the Risk (and Have Thoroughly Researched the Process), a Simple Crucible Can Be Purchased on eBay at an Affordable Price, Along with a Torch and "Magic Sand" (Alternatively, Green Casting Sand is a Better Option and Can Be Acquired Online). Please Familiarize Yourself with the Process and Safety Protocols Before Attempting This Project; Accidents Can Happen. Print Both Halves of the Design (I Am a Designer with Some Experience in Casting, but Feel Free to Suggest Improvements), Create Your Mold (Though I'm Not an Expert, Watching YouTube Videos Has Been Helpful), Heat the Material, Pour It into the Mold, and Let It Cool. Once Set, Remove the Sprue and - Theoretically - You Should Have a Completed Part. GOOD LUCK! If You Decide to Attempt This Project, Please Share Your Experience with Others.
