I was searching for something special to take to this year's family Christmas party when I spotted a squirrel cookie clutching an acorn. It looked eerily similar to those teddy bear or gingerbread man cookies holding either chocolate or a nut, so I decided to make these instead. As always, I'm including my standard "Sugar Cookie Dough" recipe, but I'll be using it to make Cinnamon Sugar Cookies this time around. Then, depending on what catches my eye at the grocery store, I'll use either nuts or chocolates. Whatever I choose, I hope you all have a fantastic holiday!
