Squirrel
cults3d
This is a 3D model of a squirrel that I discovered on Aim@Shape [1]. The creator, MPII, uploaded it under the MPII Institute License, which can be viewed by clicking on the download link on the things page at Aim@Shape. I leveled out the base and removed some imperfections from the tail that likely resulted from scanning issues. This is the most extensive work I've ever done on a model (using Netfabb and Blender to refine it), so I acquired a lot of new skills, and he turned out to be very adorable. My print was completed before I caught an error in the model, which caused the bandana-like line. It now slices correctly. [1] http://shapes.aimatshape.net/view.php?id=105
