Squircle2

Squircle2

The basis for this part came from posting I found in the Grasshopper online forum. A squircle is a polygon with curved sides and rounded corners. The name squircle comes from "squared circle." I made this design from 4 squircles - 3 squircled rectangles (the vertical parts) and 1 squircled triangle (the base.) Once I had these sized and positioned I used Grasshopper's FilletEdge routine to fillet both the inside and outside 90 degree edges between the verticals and the base. I also filleted the top outside edge of the base. This part printed in 16 1/2 hours using a print speed of 120 mm/sec and a layer height of 0.200 mm.
