Squiggler

This Blender-based sculpt was a playground for animation, creating armatures and muscle sculpting.

It is my first work in the world of lizards (and bipedal-scavengers).
The original figurine/ model is pose-able and has yet to be printed.

In this case, mainly classic mesh-modelling + subsurface-modifiers were used to create the basic shape of the body with sculpting used to finalize the model.

I also used the - for me new - solidify-workflow to create most of the belts.

The base idea is to create an object out of planes and then to thicken them to create cool 3D objects!

See: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/modeling/modifiers/generate/solidify.html to get a basic idea
