Squidward
thingiverse
A student shared a website with me featuring numerous character models from video games, which he intended to use as game pieces for a board game he was creating. I modified some of these models in Tinkercad to enable them to stand on small bases, since they couldn't support their own weight otherwise. I'm uploading the modified models and the actual ones from the games because there's currently a lack of characters from Spongebob available on Thingiverse. Here is where I obtained the model: https://www.models-resource.com/wii/spongebobsquarepantsplanktonsroboticrevenge/model/8684/ These models will need to be scaled up for optimal printing. January 13th, 2017 - I added a "beefier" version of the character with thicker neck and arms to reduce the likelihood of breakage when removing it from the bed. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Solidoodle Printer: Workbench Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Notes: I printed the character on its back so that support scars wouldn't be visible on the front. I highly recommend printing at a resolution of 0.2mm or higher to ensure that the details come out clearly.
