Squid Jig 3.5
thingiverse
This is a total overhaul of the [3.0 squid jig](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2617400), boasting several key improvements: * Figure 8 eyelets are used instead of bending your own, offering ease and convenience. * Feather holes are angled forward at 45 degrees, making it easier to position the feathers correctly. * The feather holes are precisely sized to accommodate a piece of 1.75mm filament for secure feather retention. * Weight is strategically placed to enable the use of a standard 3.5 weight (9g), but I prefer a slower sink rate and aim for 7.5-8 grams as my ideal. You will need: * 3.5 Barbs * 3.5 weight * Feathers (search for "hackle feathers" on eBay) * Paint * Epoxy for the top coat, such as 5-minute epoxy mixed with fiberglass fibers for a strong finish.
