This is a Squid Industries Krake Raken balisong trainer blade modification The Krake Raken trainer blade has a signature "ringing" sound when it is flipped. The blade similarly acts as a tuning fork when it is struck. Some people like this sound whereas others seem to hate it. There are many methods for mitigating this sound such as inserting: -Tape -Paper -Cotton Swabs -Foam into the top cut out of the blade. Using these 3D printed inserts provides a more elegant approach to the ringing phenomenon. Only the top cut-out insert is required to silence the ring. Hope you enjoy it! NOTE: Parts are designed to exact dimensions to ensure a tight interference fit. Depending on how well-tuned your printer is, these may need some scaling adjustments. Some force will be required to press the inserts into the blade. I recommend using a pair of pliers and a cloth to squeeze them in without damaging or scratching the blade.
