1. Attach the top to the brewer 2. Remove any debris and moisture from the used capsule 3. Insert the Hario paper filter into the refill side of the brewer 4. Measure out a small amount of coffee grounds and pour them into the funnel 5. Use the tamper to compress the coffee evenly in the filter 6. Secure the capsule with the original top 7. Place the capsule into the brewing chamber 8. Start the brewing process
