Squeezable concept tube
thingiverse
This squeezable tube prototype, similar to toothpaste or cream containers, is fully printable using brittle PLA material and is too innovative not to share. Print it with no infill and just one shell layer, ensuring good adhesion between layers (avoid high printing temperature). For a robust exterior, use multiple solid surfaces printed in a spiral pattern with high 'extra shells on alternating solid layers' and 'extra shells on base layers'. The model doesn't include a nozzle, so you need to puncture the front yourself. It features a small neck for future cap attachment. Measuring 110mm height and 30mm diameter, this proof-of-concept tube may have imperfections, but it showcases potential for unique designs, like an oval-shaped nozzle, which you can test by printing your own version. Expecting exciting derivatives from this concept!
