Squash ball feet for Elegoo Neptunes
thingiverse
After printing some Ender 3 squash ball feet for my Neptune 2S and 3, it didn't occur to me that they didn't have top and bottom rails in the frame until I literally tried to push them in - big forehead smack! So I scoured around for a solution to mount them on the side so they'd fit on the Neptunes, and couldn't find anything except one where it was so convoluted, bordering on unnecessary. So I made this. I took the frame of a squash ball mount that I liked the look of and added the slots onto it for the rails on the sides of the Neptunes. Honestly, I didn't want to faff too much on things that didn't matter so didn't bother filling in the bolt holes since they're now redundant, they don't affect structural integrity and barely adds any supports to the print at all. Had best results with the new tree supports on the Cura 5.3.0 xmas alpha.
