Because the design is versatile, it can be easily adapted for 3D printing. Three distinct sizes are available: H55, H175, and H200, each tailored to accommodate different glass heights and printer bed dimensions. I've successfully printed the straw at a thickness of 0.5 mm, but unfortunately, it's too thin to maintain sufficient density, rendering it ineffective. To address this issue, I've increased the tube's thickness to 0.75mm, which is the thinnest option that can still hold water, albeit not perfectly. For added safety precautions, I've also designed a straw with a thickness of 1 mm.
