Square Resistance Probe
thingiverse
This is a 2D file for use with a laser cutter, including both the .dxf file and the RDWorks .rld file. The probe, when assembled, measures surface resistance for conductive materials like inks and paint. I've included the .dxf file that can be imported into RDWorks, then downloaded to your laser cutter or the rdworks .rld file that can be downloaded directly to your cutter. Four total pieces are needed to make the probe. A detailed how-to guide is available on my YouTube channel - search for Square Resistance. The laser cutter settings are set at 10mm per second and 65% power. The part is designed specifically for use with 3mm acrylic material. A video demonstrating the process can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeubN92lOEg&t=111s.
