Square Poke Ball
thingiverse
Inspired by Markus96's project on Thingiverse, I created my own Pokeball storage box from scratch. Unlike the original design, mine has thin walls and robust hinges that make it more durable. You can access the 123D files online if you're interested in remixing this project. Both of my boxes were printed using a .6 nozzle, but you can achieve an even better finish with a different nozzle size. The smaller box was scaled down to 50%, making it more compact. On the original 100% scale, the hinge rod is made of 3mm filament, while on the 50% version, I used a paper clip as the hinge. I've also uploaded an alternative middle section and button design that transforms this storage box into one with a lid instead of hinges.
