prusaprinters
For support of my portable bandsaw, I'm using a 40mm square vertical steel pipe. To keep the pipe upright from a wooden base, I designed a support. The support screws to the wooden base and accepts the square pipe and secures it with two horizontal M8x60mm bolts and nuts.My first print was in PETG filament. I moved to Nylon filament after seeing the PETG support flex and threatened to delaminate under load. The Nylon printed support proved rock solid. Here is my 3D design. My design may match your needs, too.My print is made in Polymaker Polymide Nylon 1.75mm black filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 100% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer.I hope you can find this design useful, too.Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.
