Square Panel Wood Dowel Joint. Designed Specifically for 7/8" Wood Dowels. Acquire these dowels at Home Depot or similar retailers. To secure the dowel to the polypanel, I recommend using a 1" coarse thread screw. I have also created an alternative version of this joint where the dowel passes through it, allowing for smooth rotation despite variations in dowel diameter. This design can be utilized as a pivot point for various mechanical components, such as wheels, pulleys, levers, and gears.
