Square macaroni pasta disc for Philips Pasta Maker
thingiverse
I design this disc specifically for the Philips pasta maker, which is part of their Viva model. After conducting several tests and encountering some setbacks - including instances where the disc broke under the machine's high pressure - I've made a few key discoveries. Firstly, I've found that a thickness of 0.2mm provides the highest level of resistance to the machine's pressure. To achieve this optimal thickness, it's essential to create four solid layers on both the top and bottom surfaces of the disc. Additionally, constructing four perimeter lines along the vertical shells is crucial for maintaining structural integrity. It's also vital to avoid putting the disc in the dishwasher, as high temperatures can cause distortion. For food compatibility reasons, I recommend using PETG material. To ensure safe operation, it's recommended to use the machine with a half load of 200g. Running a full load increases pressure and may lead to the disc breaking.
