A custom D5 pump top for water cooling, designed using Fusion 360 and inspired by the original Laing D5 top, features M5 screws for attachment (12mm long) and an authentic Laing O-ring for sealing. Initial attempts at 3D printing with the Anycubic i3 Mega resulted in significant leakage during testing, despite a relatively thin wall thickness of 0.8mm. However, a previous version printed with 1.2mm walls showed noticeably reduced leakage, suggesting that fine-tuning print settings could resolve this issue. For those interested in experimenting with print settings or possessing an SLA printer, I invite you to try printing the design and provide feedback on its performance. The tolerances of the design likely require further adjustment for optimal results.
