In 1991 I took the class Engineering Design (GE1110) at Northeastern University alongside Professor Gerard Voland. The initial homework assignment demanded creating a single object capable of passing through a square, circle, and triangle hole without leaving any gaps behind. I envisioned it would be an entertaining challenge to create such an object using 3D printing technology.
