Square-1 twisty puzzle
thingiverse
Finally! The square one has arrived! Have fun shuffling the shape-shifting cube to see if you have what it takes to solve it. This cube was not colored at the time of this posting, but the square one has the same color pattern as a standard cube. Assembly is pretty straightforward. Print 8 small and 8 large slivers along with 2 core pieces. Once printing is finished (and slight filing), take a nail or screw and push it into the hole on the inside of one of the cores, then use a piece of filament to glue it in place. Next, put the pieces on both sides of the cores. Finally, use hot glue to secure the other side of the shaft, making sure not to let it stick too much so the core pieces don't slide off easily. This cube feels loose, but if you have a decent printer, your pieces won't fall off.
