I had to record a transaction recently, so I created this setup for use with my SQ8 Camera. The SQ8 starts recording immediately after plugging it into a USB port, and then this mount works just like a body camera. I'm using a very affordable, compact battery pack that can be purchased at a dollar store; it lasts for several hours of continuous recording. For the magnets, I used these 10mm x 5mm Neodymium ones from Ali (available at https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32844846480.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4duurhUe); they are extremely strong and require sliding the back clip to separate them. They fit snugly into the holes with pliers. This mount will securely hold onto any type of cloth, even a thick winter coat. V1.2 expands the base for added horizontal stability when attached to a shirt or jacket.
