SQ12 Pool Noodle bomb mount

I designed SQ12 recovery system to safeguard the device when dropped from an RC airplane. Initially, I added fins for stability but it spun wildly during descent, causing dizziness. So, I opted for a parachute instead. You can find a related video at https://youtu.be/mG3Gujn8APA. To simplify the process, a cutting guide is provided to make hollowing out the pool noodle easier. Additionally, a hole in the bottom allows you to insert a pen to push out the SQ12 for downloading video footage. Here's a step-by-step guide: 1. Cut a length of pool noodle. 2. Use the cutting guide to create an opening at the nose end for the mount. 3. Secure the mount with hot glue. 4. Add a ring of pool noodle around the end to protect the lens, considering beveling it to avoid obstructing the view. 5. Install fins for added stability or opt for a parachute for a smoother descent.
