The spyglass was crafted specifically for a school project that demanded a low-poly aesthetic and a pirate-themed design. The requirement to use only 3D models with minimal polygon counts presented an exciting challenge, as it forced the creator to think creatively about form and function. By eschewing textures altogether, the artist aimed to emphasize the raw, geometric beauty of the spyglass's shape, making each element feel more deliberate and impactful.
