Spyderco Tenacious Emerson Wave Attachment

Spyderco Tenacious Emerson Wave Attachment

Part that adds Emerson wave feature to Spyderco Tenacious knife, still permitting opening via 1/2" hole. Reference images for Tenacious shape and Emerson wave protrusion are available. I will attempt to add thumbstud too, so users can open it using 1) Spyderco hole, 2) thumbstud, or 3) Emerson Wave without interference from each other. A version with curved thumbstud like Kershaw's Black Blur is being considered, as well as regular thumbstud and eventually thumbstuds on both sides. Fit has not been checked yet. Filing may be necessary. This design has been milled out of 1/4" aluminum about 12 times using a Dremel (not recommended due to time-consuming process), and would be ideal for CNC milling, but see below regarding attachment. Still in progress since no satisfactory wave design has been found to fix it onto the knife. A set screw or similar solution may be used. This project is currently on hold indefinitely. Any ideas are welcome.
