I've created this little attachment that allows for constant angle sharpening on the Spyderco double sided sharpener. It features a fixed angle of 15 degrees, and when paired with the knife's grind, it yields approximately 20 degrees per side - a sweet spot for retouching your blade, just like the triangle sharpener is designed to do. Simply snap this attachment onto the double sided sharpener, index your knife, and follow the angle. It's not meant to slide the entire thing, as that would clog the sharpener. Instead, it ensures you always start honing at the right angle, and its compact size makes it easy to keep with your sharpener at all times. I've also developed some variations of this attachment: * A slider designed for use with a knife, which is slightly taller than the sharpener to prevent clogging. * A version with an integrated vertical stand, allowing you to work just like with the Sharpmaker.
