Sputnik SP99 Guard Prop: 4 Customizable Pieces by Designers The Sputnik SP99 guard prop consists of four separate components, each with its own unique characteristics. There are four distinct sets in total (front left, front right, rear left, and rear right), all of which have their own specific design. While they share many similarities, one noticeable difference is that none of the sets fit perfectly together. Motor Mount Design: Smooth and Protective I designed the motor mount using Flex filament, which provides a smooth finish and can also serve as protection for the motor (a small but crucial benefit). To ensure easy assembly and disassembly, I chose not to use any glue. This design feature allows for quick changes and effortless removal of the components. Print Settings: Optimized for Quality Here are my print settings: Printer Brand: Up! Printer Model: Up Plus2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25 Infill: 10% Post-Printing Adjustments: Precision Matters Due to the small size of the arms, I had to carefully trim a slight angle on top for optimal fit. Designing Effective Clips: A Challenge Overcome I attempted to create a clipsable design, but ultimately found it too small to be effective.
