Spur Gear FEA with ElmerGUI

Using open-source software, I attempted FEA on a design for my new product development. GPG (created by myself) was used for plotting gear profile, while FreeCAD helped in creating the .stp model. Gmsh facilitated mesh creation using tetrahedrons. ElmerGUI served as the solver and Paraview enabled visualization and animation making. I highly recommend trying it out; it's quite easy!
