thingiverse
This spool holder can handle most spool sizes because of a sliding set of ball bearings that provides smooth movement. It also features multiple attachment points to connect it directly to your printer or to additional devices. The bottom plate can be fixed to a standard 20x20mm profile. It's cut from 4mm wood material but will also work with 3mm material, albeit with slightly more flexibility required. The design files are arranged to fit on two A4 [~300x200mm] sheets. These design files were created with Inkscape, allowing you the freedom to modify them as needed to suit your own requirements. For added convenience, .dxf files are also included.
