Experience a new silent extruder gear replacement for your large Rapman gear. Friction wear may cause 'click-clack' noises; hence, this design incorporates a spring to apply constant pressure between gears, eliminating noise and tolerance issues. The long-term effectiveness remains uncertain, but an initial 5-hour test with reversals shows reduced noise, possibly due to the gear's increased size. Future improvements may involve a new design with six spring units. To print successfully, use Orbi-PLA or any plastic, keeping extrusion width at 0.5mm or less and pairing with the smaller Silent Extruder gear.
