The highly detailed Spruance Destroyer Class models are scaled for accuracy and feature realistic rendering without requiring special software. Animated elements include rudders, propellers, radar antennas, guns, missile launchers, missiles, and hanger doors. High-resolution textures allow for close-up renders, while the models were originally created in 3ds Max 2013. Note that some variations from original design criteria may not be available. These models come in various formats and are designed to escort Carrier Task forces and protect them from submarine warfare. Commissioned in 1975, these destroyers served for three decades before being replaced by the Arleigh Burke Class; the last Spruance was decommissioned in 2005.
